Sing, learn, grow. Together.

We are EKOSingers

EKOSingers is an adult choir of about forty auditioned vocalists who love to sing, learn, and grow as musicians and share with others the joy of choral music that moves, grooves, or soothes... everything from pop tunes, jazz, doo-wop, and swing, to gospel, ballads, and world music.

Our diverse repertoire is selected for audience appeal and to provide singers with an interesting, full-spectrum range of music styles and challenges. The choir is led by Paula Roberts, who is widely recognized for her experience, skill, and commitment to excellence.

Singin’ since 1979

EKOSingers began as a young adult choir supported by the Kiwanis Club of Edmonton. The choir has evolved over the years into an independent organization, although our relationship with the Kiwanis Club remains close and mutually supportive.

EKOSingers today

We produce high-quality public performances annually at venues in the Edmonton area. You can hear us during free community concerts and sing-outs throughout the year - at City Hall during the Christmas season and at various hospitals, fairs, festivals, and more - as well as during two season finale concerts at the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns in May.

We are also committed to serving our community through the gift of song. We lead singalongs at hospitals and seniors’ residences and perform for various non-profit organizations. EKOSingers has participated in musical outreach programs such as Vancouver Sings. We also gather donations annually for the Edmonton Food Bank at our Christmas concert.

Every few years, the choir takes a trip to showcase their music elsewhere. We’ve travelled across Canada and as far as Cuba, New Orleans, and Middletown, Ohio.
