Merry Christmas Community Singing 2013

We’ve been getting in the mood for the holiday season with some fun performances and carol sing-alongs at various community locations. At Jubilee Lodge we presented our swingin’ Christmas repertoire and then sang happy birthday to the star of the evening, EKOSinger Carol McDonald’s 105 year old gran.

The night before our City Hall concert we visited Ronald McDonald House. The Kiwanis Club was making a turkey dinner for the house guests and had invited us to sing. Following our performance we were surprised and delighted to be given a tour of the house and a turkey dinner!

Some of us were very busy on December 10th for the Probus Club and the other in the evening for the residents of Canterbury Manor and Court.

Our final community performance was at the Kipnes Centre where we entertained the veterans and a well-behaved dog named Greyeye. After our carol sing-along, some of the veterans sang for us! What a great way to wrap up 2013.
